PALATINE, Ill. – Harper baseball player Kurt Becker (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) can add another award to his collection. The standout sophomore was recently named a 2014 NJCAA Baseball Marucci Elite Hitter.
Marucci
Elite Hitter awards are presented to the All-America nominee from each
district with the highest batting average. Becker received the award for
Division III District B, which is comprised of both Region IV and XII.
The third baseman hit .494 in 46 games for the Hawks.
