PALATINE, Ill. – Harper volleyball's Veronica Dabrowski (Mount Prospect, Ill./Rolling Meadows) was selected to the Illinois Valley All-Tournament team for her performance over the weekend.
Dabrowski's versatility was on display throughout the weekend for the Hawks, as she totaled 41 kills (3.42/game), 13.5 blocks, 18 digs, and was 35-for-36 serving in three matches. She notched a career-high 22 kills in the final match of the weekend, a four-set victory over Elgin Community College.
"She hits very hard, is difficult to defend, and looks very flashy along the way," said Harper head coach Bob Vilsoet. "She is also versatile, played good defense, and passed serves well. Clearly, she caught the eye of the opposing coaches we played against."
Dabrowski is currently fourth in the nation in total kills with 167 kills (2.61/game).
