PALATINE, Ill. – The Harper College sports and wellness department will be holding a Most Valuable Hawk Competition on Tuesday, April 29 from 6-8 PM inside the Wellness & Sports Center gymnasium. Harper athletes will battle it out for supremacy in various athletic competitions, and the first ever honor of "Most Valuable Hawk" will be awarded at the end of the night to the best all-around student-athlete on campus.
Harper athletes will be treated to free food during the night. The big competition will involve a series of athletic events to determine which Hawk athlete is the best on campus. Scores will be kept for each event, and the athlete with the highest point total will win an award and the first ever "Most Valuable Hawk" honor.
In addition, there will be a presentation by professor Pardess Mitchell and academic counselor Sue Johnson-Royse on the topic of sexual assault prevention.
