The High Point Panthers, who went unbeaten in conference for their first regular-season crown since 2014, will serve as the host of the semifinals and finals on May 5 and 7.
No. 4 Liberty will begin its quest for a Big South title against No. 5 Longwood (7-10, 3-4 Big South) on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Liberty Lacrosse Field. The Lady Flames bested the Lancers, 18-8, in their regular-season meeting on April 5 in Farmville, Va.
On that day, redshirt sophomore midfielder Paige Britton tallied a career-best six goals, while Liberty used a 13-0 run spanning the end of the first half and most of the second half en route to a dominating victory.
The winner of the contest between Liberty and Longwood will meet top-seeded High Point in the semifinals on May 5 in High Point, N.C.
No. 2 seed Campbell will await the winner of No. 3 Winthrop and No. 6 Radford (2-5 Big South), which will be played on April 30 at 1 p.m. in Rock Hill, S.C. Presbyterian (1-6 Big South) and Gardner-Webb (0-7 Big South) did not qualify for postseason competition.
The Big South champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be streamed live on the Big South Network. The title game on Sunday, May 7 will be carried live on ESPN3 at noon.
