Hawks Drop 4-1 Decision to Lincoln Land

PALATINE, Ill. – The Harper College men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to Lincoln Land Community College over the weekend.

Lincoln Land scored twice on goals by Vlad Joseph and Tajay Small to take a 2-0 lead over the Hawks (0-2) at halftime. 

The Loggers added two more goals from Joel Mutela and Harry White within the first 13 minutes of the second half to extend the advantage to 4-0.

Ryan Murphy (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) scored the Hawks' first goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 86th minute.

Up next, the Hawks play Wednesday at No. 9 Triton (1-1) at 4:00 PM.
