MADISON, Wis. – Harper sophomore center Monica Hinderer (Arlington Heights, Ill./The Willows Academy) eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career on Saturday in an 83-58 loss to Madison.

Needing just four points to achieve the feat, Hinderer reached it on a
jumper with 12:16 remaining in the first half. Hinderer scored 31 points
and totaled 13 rebounds for her 21st double-double of the year.
Mikayla Nagle (/Rolling Meadows) also had a double-double for the Hawks (3-23, 0-14 N4C) with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Rachel Payne (Wheeling, Ill./Schaumburg Christian Academy) scored nine points and dished out five assists.
The WolfPack (19-9, 10-4 N4C) led 39-22 at halftime. Meagan Mazur scored a team-high 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
Harper shot just 33.3 percent (18-of-54) from the floor and committed 25 turnovers. Madison shot 41.9 percent (31-of-74).
The two teams meet again at 5:30 PM Tuesday night in Madison for a Region IV Quarterfinal matchup.
