Well, I was wrong on the MSU-Michigan game as Michigan pulled it out in pretty exciting fashion over Sparty. They proved to me they can play with some good teams and maybe I will have to give them the credit they deserve.
Regarding DePaul, I was encouraged by the effort, but a little disappointed they couldn't pull it off. Just as Crean rebuilt at IU, Purnell is working on it and seeing encouraging signs. They still may be a year or two off from being prominent, but I do see strides in their play despite their mental lapses at times. Melvin and Young provide a bright future if they stick it out, but they need other studs playing alongside them to compete in the Big East.
